Putin announces three-day ceasefire in Ukraine from 8 May

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a temporary ceasefire in the war in Ukraine.

It will run from 8 May to 11 May, the Kremlin said on Telegram.

Ukraine has not yet responded.
