Jack Rudoni came off the bench to score twice as Championship leaders Coventry moved 11 points clear of second-placed Millwall with a 3-2 victory against Derby.
The midfielder had been out of action since 28 February but returned to devastating effect as Coventry made it eight wins in nine league outings.
Brentford loanee Frank Onyeka had earlier scored his first goal for Coventry before Ben Brereton Díaz equalised before the break. Rudoni then put the league leaders ahead before Brereton Díaz pegged Frank Lampard’s men back for a second time from the penalty spot.
But the talismanic midfielder swept home just three minutes later to end a thrilling Good Friday encounter at the CBS Arena and keep Coventry on course for a return to the Premier League.
Wrexham staged a dramatic second-half recovery to draw 2-2 at West Brom and move into the Championship playoff places.
Isaac Price’s free-kick deflected off George Dobson to give the hosts a lead that was built on before half-time by Josh Maja’s penalty – Albion’s first of the season.
Wrexham had not been at the races in the first half, but they struck two minutes after the restart when Josh Windass curled home a beauty from 20 yards. Parity was restored after 62 minutes when Lewis O’Brien and Dobson were left to dispute who got the final touch on a Callum Doyle cross.
The draw takes Wrexham into sixth place, a point above Southampton who have a game in hand. The two sides meet in north Wales on Tuesday.
Mo Belloumi scored inside four minutes of his return as fifth-placed Hull drew 1-1 at relegation-battlers Oxford. The Algerian winger made it a dream start for the Tigers when he ran on to Semi Ajayi’s long ball down the right, outpaced U’s left-back Ruben Roosken then cut in and shot low past Jamie Cumming.
Oxford equalised 10 minutes later, Cameron Brannagan converting a penalty after Charlie Hughes fouled Will Lankshear from behind as the striker broke into the box.
At the other end of the table Patson Daka raced back from international duty to score twice and earn Leicester a point in their fight against relegation with a 2-2 draw against Preston.

Striker Daka, who started for the Foxes having played for Zambia against Argentina in Buenos Aires in the early hours of Wednesday, pounced on Andrew Moran’s underhit back pass and sidestepped goalkeeper Daniel Iversen to roll in a fourth-minute opener from the edge of the penalty area.
Moran made amends for his error when he struck a 38th-minute equaliser and Ben Whiteman then looped in a 45th-minute header to put the visitors on course for a second successive victory. But Daka capitalised on another error to equalise in the 81st minute.
League One roundup: Lincoln promotion party made to wait despite win

Lincoln’s promotion party is still on hold despite a dramatic and controversial 1-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon.
The runaway League One leaders needed to win and hope Bolton and Stockport dropped points to seal their place in the second tier for the first time since 1961.
They kept their side of the bargain, but only after a Dom Jefferies cross clearly hit the arm of Ryley Towler before Ryan Oné applied the finish (pictured) two minutes from time.
Unfortunately for the Imps, Bolton beat Plymouth 2-1 and Stockport sank Wycombe 3-0 to keep the champagne on ice for a few more days at least.
Bolton had John McAtee sent off for an elbow on Alex Mitchell before half-time but took the lead through a penalty from Celtic loanee Johnny Kenny. Ronan Curtis levelled for Argyle, but an own goal from Malachi Boateng gave the Trotters the victory.
Stockport’s win was far more straightforward thanks to goals from Odin Bailey, Isaac Olaofe and Adama Sidibeh.
Playoff hopefuls Bradford beat Northampton 1-0 thanks to an early Stephen Humphrys header and Lasse Sørensen cancelled out Lewis Wing’s penalty in added time to earn Huddersfield a 1-1 draw with Reading.
Goals from Jake Richards and Jordan Clark gave Luton a 2-1 win over Peterborough, who replied through Jimmy-Jay Morgan but saw Harry Leonard miss a penalty.
Mansfield earned a 2-0 win at Doncaster, while struggling Rotherham had Daniel Gore sent off in a goalless draw with Stevenage.

Leicester remain in the relegation zone, with only one win in 14 league matches, but their second-half recovery will give them hope for the run-in.
Captain Todd Cantwell’s strike secured three vital points for Blackburn in their quest for survival as they edged past Birmingham 1-0 at St Andrew’s.
Cantwell scored the only goal in the 69th minute when he fired past Blues goalkeeper James Beadle after good work from teammate Ryoya Morishita, his effort enough to claim victory and pull Rovers six points clear of the relegation zone.

Portsmouth put a desperate run of form behind them to boost their hopes of Championship survival with a gritty 1-1 draw at an in-form Norwich side.
An 84th-minute own goal from Pelle Mattsson earned the visitors a precious point after the same player had also opened the scoring for the Canaries midway through the opening half.
QPR beat Watford 2-1 at Loftus Road to make it three consecutive wins and deal a seemingly fatal blow to the Hornets’ already slim chances of reaching the playoffs.
Rayan Kolli and Paul Smyth both scored their third goals in two matches, with the pair having netted twice in Rangers’ 6-1 thrashing of Portsmouth prior to the international break. Kolli put Julien Stephan’s side ahead in the 26th minute and Smyth struck shortly after the hour.
Imran Louza pulled a goal back with a superb 85th-minute free-kick, but the visitors were unable to find an equaliser.
League Two roundup: Bromley leave it ultra-late to make point at Barnet
ShowLeaders Bromley needed an equaliser 11 minutes into stoppage time to snatch a 2-2 draw at 10-man Barnet. Bromley led through Nicke Kabamba, but Phillip Chinedu equalised before Barnet had Danny Collinge sent off.
Kabongo Tshimanga’s penalty put Barnet ahead, but George Evans struck at the death to seal a point.
MK Dons, in second, drew 0-0 with lowly Barrow, while fourth-placed Notts County lost a dramatic match at Salford 2-1, despite it being goalless two minutes into added time.
Ryan Graydon put Salford ahead, Luke Brown equalised three minutes later, only for Matt Butcher to win it six minutes into stoppage time.
Crawley won an edgy relegation battle 2-0 at Newport thanks to two goals in three minutes from Harry McKirdy.
Tranmere were dragged back into trouble after a 1-0 defeat at Shrewsbury, with Sam Stubbs scoring the only goal. They are only three points above rock-bottom Harrogate, who won 3-1 at Grimsby courtesy of goals from Tobias Brenan, Jack Evans and Bryn Morris.
Joe Quigley fired Bristol Rovers to a 1-0 win over Fleetwood, William Dickson’s goal saw Chesterfield beat Cheltenham 1-0, Oldham were 3-1 winners at Colchester, Accrington beat Crewe 2-0 and Gillingham drew 2-2 at Walsall. PA Media
Swansea substitute Eom Ji-sung struck a late equaliser as his side hit back from two goals down to draw 3-3 at mid-table rivals Sheffield United.
Gus Hamer’s opener for the Blades was cancelled out by Zan Vipotnik’s first-half penalty before Harrison Burrows and substitute Tom Cannon gave the home side a 3-1 lead. But Swans pair Adam Idah and Eom stepped off the bench midway through the second half to rescue the Welsh side a point with a goal each in the final 15 minutes.
Stoke cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday to extend their unbeaten home run to five matches. Goals either side of half-time from Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Lamine Cissé ensured Stoke secured their first league double over Wednesday since 1970.
